CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE? If you don't want to come alone, we encourage inviting a social work or healthcare colleague. This is so they are able to network with fellow industry professionals, as well as allowing us to be able to give spaces at the event to people working on the front line. Please notify your consultant directly to request a plus one ticket, once you have done so we will issue you a ticket to your email.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE SUMMER PARTY? At Social Personnel, we know how to throw a good party, so expect live music, singers, a hot food buffet, open bar and a DJ playing all your favourite classics.
DO I NEED TO WORK FOR YOU? Yes. We want to give back to as many of our candidates as possible, so we prioritise tickets for people who work with Social Personnel at the time of the party (August). We check all ticket orders against our current records.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS EVENT? No. Our candidate events will always remain free for our social care staff. We will never request any payment from you at any point or request any personal information such as bank details, please be vigilant in checking that you are communicating with our official handles across email and social media, and report anything suspicious.
WHAT IS THIS EVENT FOR? We want to be able to provide an opportunity for our wonderful dedicated candidates to let their hair down and celebrate all their hard work in what can be a very demanding industry. The event is also an opportunity to network with other colleagues in the Health and Social Care industry.
WHAT HAPPENED TO "THE BOAT PARTY" We are always trying to keep our events exciting for our social workers, and after feedback from our most recent events, we have decided to move to a new venue. The new venue means you can come and go as you please, there is more space, better, fresher food and isn't so reliant on the British weather.
HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE? The Listing is in the heart of London's City, meaning it is very accessible for people coming into major London train stations. By train/tube: Bank/Monument (Central, Northern, Waterloo & City, District, Circle) and Cannon Street (Circle & District, Southeastern Railway) are both a 5 minute walk away. By Taxi: Taxis are able to drop to the door.
